Guys, I would like to ask a favor of ya'll. I've never asked for anything like this before, but here is the backstory. I'm on my way home with my son this evening, notice that all of the gas prices have gone through the roof, so I call my wife & tell her to fill up before she gets home. She stopped at the Stallion gas station at the bottom of Fort Mountain, got out, put her card in the gas pump, pulled the nozzle out of the pump, and the lady comes running out of the store & tells her she needs to hang up the nozzle and run her card again. My wife tells her that she's already got an approval, and the lady says that's ok, she won't be charged, hang up & do it again. My wife hangs up the nozzle, runs her card again, and they went up 5 cents a gallon on her. They had the ***** to come out & tell a 7 month pregnant women to hang up the nozzle and re-run her credit card so that they could go up 5 cents per gallon on her. I told my wife to call American Express to complain to them, I'm trying to find out who to complain to in the state government about gas stations, and I'm writing this to ask all of ya'll to pass the word to boycott that gas station. I've been going there for about 5 years, buying gas, diesel, breakfast, drinks & snacks for the guys helping me when I was building my house. I'm pissed off enough over this $0.50 that I want to make sure it costs them much more than that in the long run. Please pass the word along on this, to any other group you deal with, co-workers or family that may have reason to use this gas station, don't use them. If anybody wants to ask me about this, I'm signing it & putting my e-mail address below, this is not some anonymous bs story, this is a personal boycott.
