if you dont have a helmet you can borrow one for free, you just need to leave them your license and when your done for the day you give them the helmet and you get your license back.

We meet up at the McDonalds at Michigan and Osceola parkway around 8:15 then head over.

I have always wondered about that track. I have not been out there but I have certainly thought about it several times. Sounds like it might be a lot of fun.

 

^Come on out man, we had 3 rotaries last month.
I can't think of anything better to spend $35 on.
I got 10 runs and we started late that day.

They do drift events at CFRC but the thread is for the AutoX on the 4th of Feb.

 

I dont have a rotary yet, but if I get one ill end up going. Always wanted to auto x and plus if I dont get it in time I can always bring on my Evo

So they are changing it up for this one.

They are going to do a mini time attack track.

Its going to be set up as a track so you will be doing 5 laps back to back.

Going to be pretty interesting.

 

this will be pretty awesome .. I wish I lived up there.. but even more I wish my car actually ran...

No restrictions on mods and no prizes.
It's a nice laid back atmosphere.

 

That is a cool change! Wish i could go. I blew a turbo manifold gasket weekend before last and just dont have free time to fix it before the 4th... maybe next month.

I can't think of anything else that you can spend $35 on and have more fun than this autoX/time attack.

 

id love to but to bad its so far away from me. Im waiting for the auto x that happens at the bank atlantic center, but before that, i have to fix that broken stud in the rear (pain in the ***)

 

if my car was running I'd drive up there for this . but alas.. its still in a billion peices ..

High of 79 and a 20% chance of rain.

Checked over the car... she's ready for tomorrow.

You all have fun! Hopefully next month i will be ready to go with some new (better) brake pads. Need to order some hawks..

 

Had a good time, only downside was to many people showed up which lead to only getting two runs.
Next time they are going to have a cap on the amount of cars (30-35) we had like 55.

 

yea, thats kind of a waste of money for only 2 runs.

 

I agree, they promised a better event next time.
They just didn't expect that many to show up.
Each run was 5 laps around the course.

I'll be going back. I need more practice
