FD in Daytona Beach
I'm in town for a work conference and we were being bused out to the Speedway from our hotel for some rounds at a skid pan and tips from the guys at the SKIP BARBER school. On the way I thought I saw a light colored (white or silver maybe?) FD. It was from a few blocks away and fleeting, so I couldn't see much about the car. Don't know the street names, but IIRC it wasn't far from one of the bridges over the intercoastal. Anyone here?
I think G's 3rd Gen or something close to that has a really nice silver FD in Daytona.

I don't know of any silver FD's in town. I was driving around my blue RX-7 last night though.
You should drop by the Grassroots office if you have some free time. They are 5 miles from the speedway in Holly Hill.

Love to, but I'm actually staying at THE PLAZA. I don't think that's really close for me and don't have a rental. Just thought I'd post up that I saw the FD and offer to buy him a beer if he wanted to stop by. No big deal, and I'm flying out tomorrow afternoon anyway.

Wasn't me unless my wife had the car out for a spin. I was out of town last week. There are a few Fd's that I know of in town. I believe one of the skip barber guys has a montego. He lives just south of the track. Actually thought is was for sale in the auto trader a month back. I know of 3 BB's, 3 montego's, 1 VR and my SSM in the Daytona area. So that would make 7 Fd's. I am sure there are a few more hiding. The track is awesome when the roadcourse it set up through the infield. You would enjoy the Rolex alot. I go every year. Good times. G

Well, like I said it was fleeting and from a little distance. It definitely wasn't VR, but conceivable an MB I guess...if the sun was just right?
Doesn't matter anyway. Enjoyed the visit to DB, it was my first. Sorry I missed you G, been nice to put a face with a name after all these years.
