NOPI will be giving out NOPI Drift Licences.
This will go on rain or shine and all drivers are welcome.
Practice will be from 8:30am - 3pm. Qualifying begins at 3pm.
Anyone interested? I'll be there for sure. Not sure if I'll go in the rx7 though.

Damn, I wish I could drift I would sign up, I will probably go and check it out regardless. I would just sign up and go for it but I dont think I could get enough practice in one session to not look stupid.

yup , just got a 1000 miles on it. as far as the not having alot of experince, i know of a couple of guys that pretty much have none at all and their gonna drive. besides , if oyu wanna learn this is the best place to do it( in a legal and safe closed track ) lots of people are more than willing to help you and let you ride along with them and give you some pointers.

 

I'm not drifting the rx7 because it's not going to pass the inspection. My battery is lose, I'm missing a lug nut bolt on a wheel, my suspension is stock and my shocks are bottomed out. I'm not sure what they consider "No wires exposed" but I probably have that, my seats aren't exactly "bolted tight" and my gauges don't work. I need to have those fixed and hopefully I'll be drifting legaly sometime soon.

Good Luck ihumplegs with your new motor bud, cant wait to see vids of you. I entered my first event at osw, and i cant wiat for more. But im gonna wait for radiator and other things so I dont put my motor in danger.
