SC Dinner, a Cruise, and Drive-in Movies

I am looking to see what sort of interest I can drum up.
Probably dinner some where between Columbia and The Big Mo.
Drive over to the Monetta Drive-In, and then watch movies.
For the money you pay, you get two movies. (for those that do not know)
So it will be a long night.

Thinking this coming Saturday the 16th

Let me know if you are interested!

If it could get moved to the 30th I could possibly make it.

That's if the grandparents can watch the kids for us... so a decent possibility?

Sorry it's staying at this date for now.
Perhaps something else will get planned for the 30th

We need to set a location to eat and a time.
Sonic?
Eat at the Big Mo? They do have concessions.

Concession Menu | The Big Mo- Monetta Drive-In Movies

I know most people have contacted me via FB.

It did just come up that I don't have to work tomorrow night. Please keep the info posted here, as I may be able to go if I can get some child supervision!

Maybe? I lived here in the Charleston area most of my life, and I've owned this car since 2004. I've been gone for the past 5 years though, and I just moved back this past September. I did manage to go to a few rotary events before I left, but there doesn't seem to be much interest in this area... that is, compared to Jacksonville, FL.

The only meets I ever went to near this area was at a Kmart (once), and I also went to Zoom Fest back in 2009.

So that's a maybe

Well a heads up. I can't delete the thread.
However, the event is cancelled due to too many backing out last minute.

Maybe some day we can make the drive-in and cruise over happen.
I may plan something for the 30th although like usual SC car owners don't step up too well.
Maybe it's time for someone else to plan something. Frustrating.

It also works out b/c our son came up sick this evening, and his childcare tomorrow doesn't want him over. I can understand why.

That's understandable. I don't usually back out, but there have been some extenuating circumstances that pop up some times.

I've noticed that there's usually a lack of interest in this area. There was a cars & coffee meet in Jacksonville every month that had a lot of regulars that would show up.

If there's no cars and coffee meet in the area, maybe I can try to start something to gain more interest.
