Woo, good ride again. My car probably hates me for it though. That road was ROUGH! I don't remember it being that bad a couple years ago, I thought for sure I was gonna break something on my suspension. Looks like the car pulled through undamaged though, just extremely dirty. I'm glad the only casualties were some vacuum lines and my rear tires. It turns out that a vacuum line to Jeremy's (primered RX-7) wastegate popped off, so the wastegate couldn't open... so everytime he hit boost, it would boost so high that it blew the hoses off of his intercooler! He got it home okay and fixed the problem.

Nice running you with you guys, I hope we can do it again soon. I'll probably have to get some new tires first

Yeah we have ran a few different routes including the Dragon. Between brakes, tires and lines my vote is to from this time forward if we ride it again we do the counter clockwise direction. The direction coming home was much more friendly on the cars. That and the fact we did not push as hard but it really did not seem we finished much slower. Still had plenty of dust though. In April I think we are going to return to the Dragon on the way for pictures at Fontana Dam. Head back and then take the Parkway. Tony knows some backroad that way which is fun as well. By the way what type of tires were you running today?

Oh really? That's odd. It seemed pretty crappy all around to me. I think the train tracks were the worst. Next month sounds like a good run, if I have the gas then I'll be interested. The Dragon should feel pretty smooth compared to that last one. I was running Kuhmo Ecsta ASX's. Only about 7k miles on them! I think a big reason my rears were wearing so bad is because my car has a factory passive rear-steer system that toes the rear wheels during hard corners. The bushings are shot so they probably toe a lot more than they should. I need to rotate them, but putting bald tires on the front of an FC is a no-no so I'm kinda stuck.

They have pretty good deals, a little better than Tirerack for a lot of their tires. Their tire and wheel packages are pretty good. Too bad they don't have Mazda on their menu... luckily they have the Mk. III Supra which fits about the same.

not that I know of...
92's are 91 overstocks with 91 production stickers in the door.

My car was perched from a Mazda dealership as a 92 model, and is titled as such.

I always use the numbers I get from various other sites and decide on what size I want. If you are running stock size then Tirerack definitely can tell you that on their site and then jump across and order.

More pics! That whiteout one isn't an error... that's actually what the view was like when we went through a cloud of dust.

Credit goes to Cody (Beelzebub) for taking most of these. I'm amazed he even got any while on the ride itself because that road was so rough.

Fantastic Pictures. We might have to make you the resident photographer. J/K Anyway the April ride is being planned and there is an opinion poll about dates. Go by side and pick your choices.

Yeah Cody did a great job despite my camera's horrible autofocus. The whole time it kept trying to focus on the dust on the windshield. I wish I had the money to blow on a nice SLR! One of these days.
