Charlotte, NC 6/11 Open Meet

for anyone with a car that wants to rep where they from or thier ride! i'm calling out peeps from surrounding states (SC,GA, VA and if possible TN). peeps from greenville, spartanburg, columbus, hickory, raleigh and clemson. this meet will be on Saturday, June 11th at 3pm! if anyone is interested or has ideas feel free to leave a reply here, PM, or instant message me. this is still preliminary; location is not certain.

I would def do it....you should throw some ideas around as a good meeting place for something so large....if you want to get it that big. Would have to say meet someplace in the middle....if at all possible...but I am game here

Let's keep an eye out for any NASA or SCCA events at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Those High Performance Driving Schools are amazing. NASA cancelled the one for this year, but there may be more. I recommend them. There's one at Road Atlanta in August. How about a Charlotte gang going down? OK, I know, I'm not part of the Charlotte gang, but I lived most of my life there so I'm a partial member.

i'll keep the first post up 2 date with events and participants. we're just inder 30 peeps now. sofar majority is from the www.mazda6club.com and www.vwvortex.com boards. is anyone coming from GA? u would be able to convoy with the others from GA.

I will most likely come as my car will finally be running again by the end on the month and I will be back in the Charlotte since school will be out. Probably can get my brother to come out too, he was an 05 Mustang GT.

We have a performance shop and a Mustang chassis dyno. You could have the meet at our place if you like. Our parking lot should hold about 75-100 cars pretty easy! We will run a special of $20.00 for one pull with AF for a big group like this. Just let me know what you think. ^^^^ By the way we are in the Hickory NC area. Close to Charlotte, Asheville, and Greensboro. It sounds like we would be in about the middle of all the places you mentioned.

^^^^ Hey, We are only about 45 minutes to Concord Mills Via I-40 and I-77. About the same if you go Hwy16 to Hwy73 to Hwy49 and so on. It would be great to line somthing up so we could meet a lot of new people from different areas. My 7 isn't much to look at right now, but I do have some plans!

Has anyone decided about the venue yet? Like I said I will set up a great deal for some dyno pulls plus offer the facility to meet in. Just like to get the word out some more about our shop. We have a lot of domestic work going on, but would like to get into some more import oriented applications. I bought a TII for a BIG turbo project car!
