Found an 85 SE in a junk yard down the road from me. I've already picked some parts off of it, but I'm in need of some help getting the engine. They have it tucked in deep and no forklift to pull the car out. So either I need an engine hoist you can easily break down to carry back there, or a couple strong backs. The engine is locked up, but I'm still wanting it so I can actually go through a rotary engine while mine is still getting me from point a to b.

 

Come out to the C&C tomorrow maybe we can get some interest in helping you out.

 

Too much that needs to be done here at the house so won't be out tomorrow.

The car still has everything on it minus: dash harness, light transmissions, right side strut and shock. Car hadn't been touched until I starting picking stuff off of it for my SE and its all been little things. Car has been sitting out there awhile too, so not everything is in the best of shape, but its there.

 

How decent are the guys prices?

 

You know if they have any 1st gen probe gt's or mx6gt's? I could come help you out on sunday. whats the entry fee? I'm always down to check out new junk yards.

 

Prices are everywhere, but don't seem too bad. I picked up the right side complete strut assembly and rear shock for $35 I think.

No entry fee. Closed on Sunday and only open til like 2 on Saturdays. I do believe there was at least 1 probe, but don't think it was the GT, since I'm guessing your looking for the 4 cylinder turbo motor? Its not a very large yard.
