Hello everyone!

I'm testing for interest and if enough are interested I'll get the guys at the dealership to chime in themselves.

The GM at Sutherlin Mazda wants to throw a car show and cookout for the club members in the Atlanta area. They agreed to clean out an area in their car lot for everyone to park. He offered to grill out and potentially have a band/DJ or some sort and give out service/part coupons or discounted car washes that day for everyone. They just ask we pick a date and they'll make sure they have the staff to take care of the group. My goal is to get as many of the different groups together; mx5, rotary, and 3&6 clubs.

I know dealerships tend to screw people over, but I appreciate these guys and gals. So, if you're interested, please chime in.

I just posted on the mx5 boards and have gotten some good responses so far. I threw out a Saturday in late June if possible.

Maybe we could do it on the 20th anniversary of Mazda's win at Le Mans. I think its the 23rd of June

Okay everyone. Sorry that I haven't been on in a while, but this month has turned out more hectic than I expected. Seeing as how I'm trying to get this going I don't think it'd be cool of me to miss the event due to work. SO, we will be pushing this event back into July (obviously not the week/weekend of the 4th). Maybe more people can come now. So any other people interested?

 

FINALLY got some interest from the rx8club. Someone suggested the weekend of the 17th. I'm going to pass that along to my contact at Sutherlin and see if that's good for them. Any other date suggestions?
