Can anyone in the Chattanooga area do me a HUGE favor????
Alright, here is my situation. Went out of town for the holiday and flew out of the Chattanooga airport. Got back tonight and the car started fine, but smelled strong of gas. I get out to see a huge puddle underneath the engine, immediatly shut off the car. So it was 11pm and I didnt have the patience to deal with it tonight so I got a hotel room.
I need to know if anyone has the means to tow my car back to Greeneville. I realize that it is quite far away, about 170 miles one way, but I am willing to pay. Tow companys want minimum $2.50 a mile which is going to add up quite quickly.
I am willing to pay gas and anything else you want, as long as it turns out cheaper than a tow truck. If you can help me, please call my cell phone, my number is 770-722-8468 my name is Justin, call me whenever. I may be asleep but just leave a message and I will get back to you ASAP.

I cant really tell where its from, there was gas on the turbo, so Im thinking something around the fuel injectors, maybe an o ring or something.

Sounds like a dead pulsation dampener. Most FC owners I know have been through it. I replaced mine with a $20 banjo bolt from Summit Racing. You should be able to tell with the UIM off, it's a big plastic mushroom looking bastard on the end of the fuel rail. Obviously, don't try and start the car until you get it fixed. Sorry I don't have a truck or I'd help ya out!
Also congrats on the TII, F.R.E.! I hope I get to see it at the next meet.

Trust me Lizard...ill have it broken in by then too. My NA's new shoes got here too...so maybe ill have them mounted and ready for viewing....new T2 in teh siggy ^.^
But yeah, a fuel smell can be the FPD...my na has been running the banjo bolt off a spare fuel rail for the last 7 months, no problems to date, so its a painfree mod.

Looks like it was just an o ring or something, I jumped the fuel prime plug and only saw fuel dripping down one of the primary injectors. Ive ordered all new o-rings from mazdatrix which should be here friday. Im also redoing my OMP lines while Im in there.
