Push start it in gear, then just slowly drive it where ever you need to. You can still rev match to change gears, just don't stop. Easy day.

Well which parking lot would you like to sit in? Ahahahaha just kidding.

Is your '7 back up? I would say go for a cruise, but my 12A won't keep up and I don't know whose cars are even running at the moment.

Instead of a parking lot, we could sit in my backyard, drink beer, and barbecue.

ok, i see i missed telling what happened to my black car...

about 3 weekends ago I swapped out my thermostat housing with an older style so i could do the mod to remove the AST. well, i didn't get the car completely filled back with coolant so the following tuesday on the way home from work, it over heated and lost compression...

jump ahead to this past weekend: I take the short block to Kevin Landers in TN. He tears it down, says all parts could be used to make a running engine, but the housings and e-shaft are barely useable. So, now I'm looking to get two new housings and an rx8 e-shaft (and maybe, just maybe, rx8 stat gears as well...) Then I'll take the engine back to Kevin and ask him to put it back together for me...but with street port and most likely 3mm seals.

car will get back on the road in a few months with a Turbonetics 62-1, 1600cc/850cc injectors, ACT clutch, and the aboved mentioned engine work...

all in all, about $5000 into her...

Corolla - You would be better off posting that question in the 1st gen section. Not many FB guys around here anymore. I'd love to help you out, but I've been extremely busy lately. Where are you located at?

Well, I'm new to the Jacksonville area, actually living in Richlands near Ellis Airport. I don't know about sitting in a parking lot all night like the kids like to do but I am down for beer and BBQ sometime soon if anyone else is interested in that. Plus I am in need of serious help with my FD if someone has alot of experiance with the engines/turbos I think i have something stupid going on since putting in the exhaust and can't figure it out. I am a lover of the 84-85 GSL-SE and have owned 6 of them in the past and finally got a FD and its like owning a completely different car when it comes to working on it.

Meet in Raleigh this Saturday

Guys,

I know that this maybe a long shot with gas prices and all but the Raleigh area crew has a meet this weekend at 6pm at Southern States Mazda. You are welcome to join. A few weeks ago we had a 20B FC, a 500hp turbo FC and many others to show up. Hope to to see you there.

Welcome to the armpit of the east coast.

Not many of us here are FD savvy, but we do like to drink beer. Actually there isn't much going on here lately.

Yea, second time in this stinkin pit, lol. So everyone pretty much drives up to Rotorsports for work to be done? That sucks, maybe i will just have to buckle down and take the time to figure out whats happening. Will have to start getting something going at least once a month or so then BBQ wise.

No, we work on our own cars. Rotorsports is too far away and too expensive.

Im off this weekend if anyone want to get something together and get a meet going. We could also at least take a look at the FD deviant.ones just to see and maybe pinpoint something. And at least you're out of the stumps. So who volunteers the space? Id volunteer but I dont think you guys want to drive all the way out here and I dont have that much space for a lot of cars. Ill buy everyone a beer or soda respectively. Plus we also gotta give a goodbye to Erick. I think its time for another meet.
