My fc will be legal Thursday and I have an issue I'm still trying to solve. I can't push my throttle down more then halfway or my 7 will bog down until I back off the gas. Ya no idea what's going on lol

Not sure but maybe a junked up fuel filter could be why it bogs down when you mash z gas.

Hmm never gave that much thought, ill look into it, some others on here are saying I need to adjust my tps or some jumper wire on my AFM. I'm still trying to grasp the information I'm being fed lol

Idk why I didn't think of that. I just had to replace the fuel filter in my daily car. It was bogging/sputtering when driven, the fuel filter had collected a lot of condensation from the fuel tank. Could be your problem. As always, start with the cheapest/easiest solutions depending in your situation.

After a skim through my haynes manual, it looks fairly straight forward. Of course, that is just in theory lol. Filter is under hood, so no messing with the tank, always good news in my eyes.

Double check the label/internet for rotary safe-ness, but while your at the parts shop, grab a bottle of "HEET" (its called iirc). Add to gas tank, should remove moisture from the lines as well. Ive been adding it every tank in the Saturn, no problems since. Again, be sure its safe for our cars first lol.

I have heard both ways on seafoam. I would browse arouns the forums for a much better answer then this lol. If im not mistaken, it works (when added to fuel tank) about the same way as HEET.

I assume best buy worked out well for the last meet, so why not keep the same venue? Ill attempt to get off work if we decide on Saturday again.

Seafoam is in most parts stores. I typically deal with advance. Its a white can, red lettering (iirc) in the fuel additive section.

Ya bestbuy worked out good but somthing just happend with my 7 about 5 mins ago so I don't know if I can make this time..... I went to go start and it wouldn't turn over, when it finally did I went to drive it and noticed that my gas gauge was wayyy below the E like it wasn't even working, I just put a quater tank in it last night. So I turnd around and started to head back home with smoke started to enter the cabin. I parked it and looked under the hood, only thing I could spot was my alt. belt snapped. I have no idea What's going on with my car and can't afford a new engine or car. Someone please help me out here, I really don't want to sell or scrap my RX7 but if somthing is really jacked then I have no choice.

I wouldnt think it would be too hard to find a replacement. Speaking of which, just tried (key word) starting mine. Its either extremely flooded, or some other new problem. I think your bad luck! J/K

Ya mazdatrix sells them for like $75 but I know a guy who has one for $45. Didn't think a metal tube could cost so much haha but I hope you get yours up and running for our next meet whenever that is.
