Damn I was gonna bring an extra set of tires just so I could.....lol
How about Saturday? Non work day and typical night for Tom-foolery....oh, btw, I think everyone is clear about this and is mature enough but just so everyone is clear that everyone else knows NO BURNOUTS, DOUGHNUTS, RECKLESS DRIVING OR ANYTHING THAT GARNERS UNWANTED ATTENTION!!! This is a mature meet and anything retarded will be addressed. I will call the cops myself if someone is being an a$$-hat and will smile if they remove a 7 from the immature hands of anyone who would do such things on public roads.

Im good for Saturday evening. Best Buy is fine and if we have permission, even better. Ill be coming by myself as my wife will be home with the baby. Im going to pass the word around work and try to get some more people to show, albeit not in Rx7's. Theres a guy at work with a white Rx8, black vinyls and wheels, and white tinted windows. Im sure he would show up.......

I feel where you are coming from. That crap ruined hangouts for me years ago. We'd be hanging out and the idiots would pull up and race through parking lots and do burnouts in hondas and gay stuff like that.

Youre inviting non rx7s to an rx7 meet? Maybe im just being an a-hole but that kind of opens it up to it being a typical ricer meet. Maybe im wrong and these are really cool guys that dont have 7s and we should meet them and talk them into 7s lol. If im the only one who feels this way ill shut up. No disrespect or anything just trying to be protective of 7 meets.

Ok im not trying to step on toes here. Re-read it, he said he was inviting others but mentioned only one 8, not other guys that have 8's. But, there is a bit of a difference since 8s are more prevalent these days than 7s and its kind of a different . I def see more 8s on a daily basis than 7s. Im not going to get into a structural/mechanical argument about the two bc its exhausting. Im not trying to exclude people but it is rx7club. Id def like to see your 7

As far as inviting other people, I know a couple guys that are rotary enthusiasts. One has an turbo II back home and the other is looking to buy an FD. I have no intentions of inviting some random ricers or anything.
And the Rx8 comment is not meant against Rx8's. I like them and they are welcome to be there. I was being sarcastic about inviting the Rx8 from my work as the guy has no clue about cars, rotaries especially. Not to mention what he did to the poor Rx8 he currently owns. Ill snap a picture and post it up. Heres a hint; He asked me if I would bolt a third rotor onto his motor so he can have a 3 rotor......
And honestly, put a handful of Rx-anythings in that best buy parkinglot on a saturday evening and its going to be inevitable that we will have more visitors.

I see quite a few random Rx8's but it is rare to see one tastefully modified and even more rare to see one owned by a true enthusiast.

Ok so IMO I think that 8s are more then welcome to come. Anyone who has a intrest in rotorys is welcome to come, I didn't intend for this to be a purely 7 meet, I saw it as any car with a rotory truthfully but I know that basicly everyone who said they could make it has a 7 or they might bring their 8 too. We are all rotorheads so what's the difference?

Ok we were just having fun with you about the 8's. In 2006 they made 1500 of them in three colors B black, Pearl white, and the only year you will find Copper Red. I also have a GT 6man but the best part is they are 342 vin # apart. I love all three but the Shinka is the wife's main car she and I have been to DGRR 4 times and this year will make our 5th. We like all rotory vehicles

Am giving +1 to backroad-junkie. A 7 club is a 7 club. If you want to talk about rx8 go to rx8club.com. Yes it is a rotary car but is not that old school rotary. Oh yea I did own an rx8 didnt find any interest on it.

I look forward to meeting you guys and putting faces/names to screen names. I will have my HD camcorder out there to get all the cars on a digital format. As long as no one disagrees.
