New to the area, working at Cherry Point and Seymore Johnson for about a year. Just brought the 7 down and trying to find out where things go down.

 

It has been slow cuz all the holiday.

 

my fd is back in the shop...kind of the exact opposite problem from last time....last time i couldn't get the clutch to grip and make the car go...this time it won't disengage....hahaha

 

Anyone around have a spare manual tranny for an fd? I just lost 3rd gear the hardway.

 

don't know about an extra tranny, but george at aamco in j'ville did his master thesis for his mechanic's degree on rotary engines...and he's pretty good at working with you on pricing as much as he can....

sorry been kinda off the board for a lil bit...been having alot going on at work, car's back out of the shop but i have several parts to install, hopefully next weekend, after i get them installed i'll probably start trying to organize another meet...but i will say that josh's sponsors dropped him so his 7 is pretty much down and out....he needs about 20k in parts....

 

Anyone intrested on doing a meet next weekend?

 

i should be able to do that...almost got all my turbo issues worked out...they're at about 80% i guess...full boost on first turbo, then drops to about 5 lbs on second, shift and no boost until i let the revs drop below 4500 and sit for about 10 seconds....as long as i don't get into the second turbo i still get boost after shift...ah, oh well....still have some troubleshooting to do...then it's on to interior...haha..but yeah when do you have in mind for the meet?
