ok guys im trying to get my car ready for pinks in april... what i need help on is parts...

im looking for

fuel cell (rear sump)
gsl-se oil pump
driveshaft loop
batt kill switch

im not asking for hand outs (but i wont turn them away) im asking for deals if you have or know some1 that has any of this stuff let me know i need to get this thing done ASAP...

when/where is the episode being filmed? i'm sure someone's already said something about it and i've just not gone looking through the threads, but how about a meet at the show? bunch of 7s show up to support ya?!??!

 

its in rockingham i think, i know zac from rotorsports is plannning on running. i think its april 6-7

Best places for these parts:
fuel cell-check JCWhitney, Summit, or Jegs. They have decent pricing
oil pump-check around
drive Loop-Same;JC Whitney, Summit, or Jegs
Batt Kill Switch-Local parts store should have that.

Also, call some of the racing 7 teams to see if they have some extra parts laying around. Pettit Racing, RX7 Store, Banzai Racing, etc. Let them know your going on TV for pinks, ask for some parts for in exchange for some on car advertising. That's how it works. Good Luck

as for parts i got the rear sump kit for the gas tank. so i dont need a fuel cell anymore... i think 1 of my friends has a NHRA kill swith

i dont have to have the oil pump but it would make things safer still lookin for the loop

 

sooo... Ari's american flag RX7 is a domestic?

patrick and I are definitely signed up... whether we make it to the top 16 that will actually be the main part of the show is to be determined on that day. i'm limited by not having a legal cage in at the moment so i'm detuning to only run low 12's high 11's.

my questions to pat are:

why do you need the fuel cell, batt kill switch, and all that? it won't be required unless you go out there and run 10's

the fuel cell was caz i need to redo my fule system .. but i got a rear sump kit and new fuel line

and the yare doing NHRA tech.. so it gets harder to pass once you brake into the 11's also the rules change if you are runing a slick

13's with slicks you have to have a drive shaft loop... dot tires 11.5 you have to have a drive shaft loop... i oculd be wrong about the 11.5 it might be 11.8 on dot tires

i also beleave anything in the 11's has to have a kill switch.. i could be wrong

also if the batt is in the car you have to have a batt box NHRA or you have to have a firewall.. no fuel cells in the car with out a firewall there is lots and lots of rules its THE GAY i dont know if i can get my car to pass tech we will see

 

so many rules and regulations, it should be a run the car and whoever is slower give him some lengths




key word pinks ALL OUT. Not the regular pinks where they take your car. the ONe where 15 cars go all out and run eachother for money

 

the rules and regulations and not from the show... if you noticed the 1st all out most the cars didint have cages.... the track sets the rules.. and rockingham is a NHRA track and dont want any law suits if some1 decides to test how strong there walls are
