Here is the flyer for this event . March 11 at lakeland dragtrip. A ton of rotarys go to these events. There is gonna be a match race between Orlando's fastest rotary "Curian racing" vs Miamis fastest rotary "Ortiz racing" both are mid 7 second 1/4 mile cars. IF ppl are up for a caravan just post up where ya wanna meet up and location. Gates opne at 9am .

 

That's IF its gonna be open that day of course according 2 u lol

 

Keep this thread going to see if anyone is going to ride down there. I my self might go early but I'm not sure yet.

I'll have to go check it out if it's still on. I heard a rumor that the track closed down again and all events are cancelled, but it's just a rumor.

That's good to know. Someone here locally was told by people working there that the lease was terminated early and the track closed down. This evening I heard that things sound like they are being worked out.

 

Guess nobody wants to see fast *** cars running . guess just ppl want to go to stupid boring meets that are pointless.Imma have fun. hope the meets are fun lmfaoo

The track is open!!!!lol... I went last night (thursday) I guess roy has taken back over and dave is still the manager...The track is hooking very, very good.... So it should be good sunday.. See you guys there...

Thats why you have a huge line of people ready to go to your drag event? The drag strip is fun, no doubt, but driving to lakeland just to see some people go straight, when it'll be on youtube later (if the races were good enough) in the afternoon makes no sense to me my friend, if it was bithlo then id go. Ive been trying to catch a fun day sunday but I always work. To each his own, I hope you all have fun.

 

but hold up blk guy. Have you ever even been to a lakeland import event before?Ppl talk alot of **** about lakeland being to far and all this other bullshit but the majority of the time they never even been to a lakeland import event.

 

Drag racing is drag racing is drag racing. I enjoy drag man, I just dont feel like going to lakeland for it. Maybe if I had Luisy driving me, id go lol. I have been to lakeland once before, and I liked it. But im not up for the drive. Unless there was like 20 orlando 7's rolling up there, then id go.
