Hey Simon,
I am planning on leaving from work early so that I can get to Moroso around opening time so I can try to get my slow runs in before everyone gets there. LOL
I can't give you a deffinite time yet as work will dictate what time I leave on Fri. but my plans are around 4 to 5 o'clock after i pick up my son from school so he can go with us.

Same Here!! I need alot of practice, as I have not run at the track in years.
I will be trailering my car up, so, I won't be able to caravan anyways.

I want to be there when the gate opens. Trailering a car from South Dade County means leaving real early.

I have some C16 still left in the tank from last weekend's dyno.

Count me in Simon, I met you at the dyno tune session with Steve K. a couple weeks back, I was driving the FD w/ the black stock rims. I am going to try and leave early from work that day(I work in Miami).
Hey Roland did you get your clutch fixed? Can't wait to see your car and Alex's run live. Should be an RX-7 dominated night.

I am not going to be able to make this one. Waiting on a UIM gasket. Had the top end off to do some maintenance and cleaning. Found the gasket to have a sm crack. Also waiting on a few other odds and ends to tidy her up under the hood. Good luck. I wish I could hang w/ you guys. See you again soon Simon, everyone. G

I will also have a very hard time leaving early on Friday. I will beg to leave from Homestead at 4:30, and may have to leave at 5pm, trailering the car straight from work. Therefor I will not be part of a caravan or meet at Publix, and will tech a little late. Yes, I am putting my clutch in today, and will run with Directfreak and whoever else with 600 hp that wants to whip me (maybe the nitrous C6?). Sorry to hear about those who can't make it, we understand and promise some good footage. If anyone needs some C16, let me know, my Wife is going Friday morning to get me some. It is $60 for a 5 gallon barrel.

ok, not like it matters much in the slug, but I need 2 new tires too.

Instead of buying new tires for the 17" wouldn't it be better for the track if I threw the stockers back on.

I know the stock wheel tire set up is at least 10# lighter than the 17"s on there now.

I still have awesome tread on the stockers.
just wondering if there's any great reasons to use the stockers or not.
??

(it's been years since I've run @ moroso, & last time I did was in a 1971 c-10 with 3 on the tree & granny rear gears. I ran a 26 @ 62 mph! damn 3 speeds)LOL

Good luck guys!

My first time on the SE section of the forum, I'm in Sebring, FL. Having some overboosting problems with my car, but should be remedied soon. Going to temporarily fix with some resistance in the exhaust, until I can bore out my wastegate. Would love to make it, but I should be able to make it for next time. Anywy, good luck rotaries!!

Well, I'm back home. I counted about 10+ RX-7s and 20+ people despite the unusually heavy traffic. The weather was absolutely perfect as predicted, and the track very well prepared. Unfortunately, I broke my diff. on the very first attempt, so I was very disappointed and had to run the towtruck. On the bright side, it was a great turnout and a really good time. The weather was so good and so many cool people came out that I was not even too depressed that I broke without being able to run even once. I want to thank everyone for showing up and running their cars, and Crispeed for the clutch and all the help, and everyone that helped with the trailer. Thanks Phil for letting me borrow money to tech the truck and make 2 good runs. The people that I saw running good were:
Directfreak (12.2 and more low 12s taking it easy and trapping 127 mph !!!)
Oscar - red FD ( 12.4 @ 114 ) that was a sweet run keep it up
leatherface - turbo miata 13.5 ! and smoked a Cobra I think
Everyone else ran decent and it was really cool having you all there. I look forward to next time and these are the type of events that really count, separating the men from well...ricers

^^^^^^Agreed ^^^^^^
It was a great time even though we only got in 2 runs. I was really surprised at all that damn traffic that had us trapped for an hour doing only 20 mph on the higway. Hopefully next time we can get more runs in to help tune and adjust our driving skills. Can't wait....
