autoX near valdosta, GA

I'm considering a move to Moody AFB area - info?

Specifically I guess I'm just wondering what the area is like, stuff to do/see, and racing venues/autoX events.

Thanks,

There's one in Bainbridge every month (see dixiescca.com), though I'm not exactly sure how far from Valdosta that is.

Macon is just a little bit away (north) from Cordele, there are monthly autoxes (generally 1st sunday of each month). Check out information at http://mgascca.org

They set up a nice course and have 2 sets of 3 runs for each group. There are a lot of supercharged miatas there along with Levent (on this forum) in his RX-8 and the cool cat racing nissan skyline. Its nice and cheap too, like $10 for first time and $15 from scca members I think. Their events are listed on myautoevents.com
