Atlanta RX car club?
I heard that there used to be one in Atlanta. I'm not sure if there still or not. If there is or if someone is starting one and looking for a member please let me know via pm or what have you. Thx

No seriously we should start something since we've already got really good locations like two places on 41; Mazcare.com and that little Miata shop and Mazmart.com for junkware in Chamblee.
Would be silly not to start an rx7 club.
We kind of have a loose group that meets every so often. Just some of us dont ever have our 7's at the meets. Like we just had a big 7-7-07 meet at Dave and Busters in Gwinnett.

Wow.. I posted this a while back. Guess I should reply. I went to the old guys with 12a's and was informed that i have 1.5 years of my life to spend before I become an old guy. My car was new when i was 6 haha... any way... Had a great time with everyone.
I see that Ray has been advertising to yall about the meet. It was a great time. Good times and some beer. Follow Ray's links to get the info about the old guys with 12a's meet.
The main reason I asked about a club is that I was looking for people in the atlanta area that enjoyed tuning and turning wrenches. This way I would be able to help someone out and learn more about the cars. I'm still a n00b when it comes to RX-7s.
I really don't care if it is a club or not. Just wanted to get out and meet people.

@AWS - I don't mind driving any where. This weekend I will be in Agusta for a house warming party though. I can try and shoot for next weekend though. Will have to make sure the Wife doesn't book me for anything. But yes.

Recently moved to Atlanta and just got the RX back on the road after a rebuild.
Okay so is anyone up for starting a meeting closer to Atlanta? I am in Marietta close to Windy Hill Rd and have noticed some people in Alpharetta, Woodstock, and Kennesaw. I know a good Sushi resturant thats not too expensive and close to the I-75/285 split on the top side of the perimeter. We could meet on 10/9/07 so we don't step on any toes for the Old Guys with 12A's meeting (which I will probably go to). Thoughts?

Yeah I guess the name of the place would have been helpful. It is called Ru Sans. There is one in Buckhead too but I don't think it is convenient for everyone. It is close to the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Windy Hill Rd.

Would there be any objections in changing this to Sunday? I forgot my Fiancee has school on Tuesdays and she really wants to go. That would make it October 7th which may be a bit more fitting anyways.
