This is what all we include in your oil pan test and repair:
-clean oil pan exterior
-check for leaks around the seal
if a leak is found then proceed to:
-drain the engine oil
-drop the cross member
-suspend the motor
-unbolt the oil pan
-remove oil pan
-clean up the seal
-re-seal the oil pan with high quality permatex sealant
-bolt it back up
-tighten everything down
-lift the motor
-replace the cross member to its original position
-re-fill the engine with oil
-clean and re-check the oil pan for leaks as well as the rest of the motor
and you are all set!
we normally charge about $550-$600 for this but we are offering it to forum members for $350
This takes about 5-6 hours assuming everything goes smooth. The sealant is about 2 hours of drying time.
