Alabama Rotorheads??
Alabama Rotorheads??
Wow! I must have been blind, because it wasn't til Phil's thread about the engine stuff Sunday, that I realized there was such a good sized group of Rotorheads in Alabama!
My boyfriend told me that when he gets out of the Navy in July, he might be able to get a really good job opportunity somewhere in Alabama. (I think in the upper part of the state.)
When he and I get married in the next year or so, I was worried that I'd be a loner with my rotary if we live in Alabama. But wow... that's kindof exciting that there's a good group of you!
Nothing's set in stone, of course... it's all still just a list of options for him. I'm still here in Raleigh, NC in college... so I won't be leaving here til Spring of 2007 for whatever we do.
Hopefully if I make it out to Deal's Gap this year, we'll be able to get acquainted.
His sister lives in southern Alabama, so it's just been an exciting option.
You remind me of our RRDI group here in NC... always willing to help each other out.

perkystina,
Let me know if you and your boyfriend do come this direction. I'm located in Bham (biggest city in AL.. which isn't that big) and toward north is Huntsville. Both are great cities! I've moved here from various parts of US and by far the best city I've lived in. Also us rotary guys meet up fairly often and help each other out in various tasks. See you at the Gap!

My boyfriend is on deployment til May. I wish we could wait a month for Deal's Gap so he could go, too.
But anyway, if I am able to go, I'll be the tall redhead bouncing around with the RRDI guys. Can't miss me. I might have my yellow FC with me, but if she's not ready, I could be riding with someone.
Feel free to introduce yourself, if I don't come running up and introducing myself first.
