Once again Deo (10th AE) was kind enough to block off a portion of the parking lot at his restaurant, the Mellow Mushroom, and offer us the use of the deck to socialize and eat. Although Deo's 10th AE, along with my 'vert, are at the garage, I still managed to make it with the SE.

The meet was scheduled for 7PM at which time myself and Buddha were there...Spooln Blue came in about 7:45 and the others around 8PM or slightly thereafter. Mental note...7PM = 8PM. We were hoping for 10 - 15 cars and I was slightly disappointed that only 6 made it (although Tom coming after he had said he wasn't was a very pleasant surprise). However, all the generations were represented...plus a 944 (hey...it kinda looks like a 2nd gen)! I will also say that no matter the numbers in attendance, it is always great to spend time with people who share the same passions you do and just talk about everyday life...not only our cars.

There are tentative rumblings that the next meet may be a small road trip or that we may rent out the track for a day...stay tuned.

hey evo, I was thinking about heading up there if my headlights came in in time, I figured you would be there, but they didn't come in yet so I wasn't able to this time but I thought you would like to see her again..... maybe next time.

Kevin your camera makes my engine bay look more like ****, than it really is. And I noticed how someones stock s4 engine bay pic didn't get posted. Sorry for the lousy group picture but my hands were very shaky and the picture didn't come out good.

 

Jesus...if my hands were that shaky I'd own a big bottle of lube and never leave the house! =)
