Well i have been very busy modifying my fd this summer and on the 4th of june i ordered a set of hard intake pipes from the rx7store its july 22nd and they are still not in.Ive been told they were on back order after i paid for them but wasnt really worried about a time issue because there was alot going on with the car. ,Now its actually the last part im waiting on. Is this common with this company ? The last email i sent went unanswered. Id get them used if they showed up on the forum but no luck so far I know jason is a great guy but its beginning to linger on too long in my opinion Anyone know another company that sells a nice hard intake pipe kit ? let me know thanks and ill keep my fingers crossed

 

Wow, what timing. I was about to order a set of those just about three weeks ago, but now I'm glad I didn't. I ended up buying a set of eBay pipes and some halfway-decent couplers to repace the crappy eBay ones. So far I'm pretty happy. The pipes had no rolls or anything on the ends to keep couplers from coming off, but after two track days, the pipes are still nice and the couplers haven't budged a bit. IIRC, the shipping cost more than the pipes!


I'd cancel my order if I were you.

 

I ordered a Koyo radiator for my FC from there around the 6th of July and it's not here yet either... I know that's not nearly as long, but still. I can't wait two months- this car is my daily and I'm having to borrow my mother's car to get places while my car sits in the garage without a radiator.

This is some bullshit.

 

that part is bullshit. They should not charge your card until they are ready to invoice and ship. And by "READY" I mean "That Day". If they require a deposit then OK you have an option to lay out a deposit but to charge your card in full and then tell you it is on back order is un-ethical.

what is their motivation once they have your money? nothing really.

I'd call my Credit Card company and cancel the charges ASAP. Once they don't have your money and they want your money......they may reply to your emails.....I dunno

im not trying to bash anyone i just dont want to wait this long to upgrade my fd I was planning on getting the greddy elbow and piping along with the efeni y anf crossover pipe from him as well but im not waiting all summer to build my car so i bought elsewere Its lost income on their part but maybe he,s so busy that my $114.oo doesnt mean **** to them how can you run a buisness when it takes this long to get pipes in just think of how many sales he has lost due to not having any intake pipes for 2 months and who,s to say that he hasnt been waiting on other parts asd well **** i could have sat in a nest and birthed a pair by now hell im about to cut the chrome tips of my neighbors mustang and throw my filters on them. [just kidding] . like i sais i think jason is a good guy but this has been a long wait for me

 

I don't think you are "bashing" anyone. I am just saying......You need to get your money back. $114 may be going un-noticed, but belielve me when it gets sucked out of his bank account you can bet He'll notice.

This is standard RX7store opperating procedure. That's why I don't buy from them, that's why I advise my friends not to buy from them. This is way too common.

It really sucks, because they have some decent prices on some nice parts. Jason, get your **** together.

As I recall I never charged you for the hard pipes and have responded to every email you have sent asking for an update. That is all I can do since I dont have them here and still waiting on them. You can cancel the order any time you like. To get on here and bitch about something out of my control is a freaking joke.

If someone has not recieved a part there is a reason for it. Most likely a backorder issue at the manufacturer. I have over 50 orders in front of me that are backordered, so you are not the only one waiting on stuff. That is how this business is.

and to those that say that is how I run my business you need to get a clue. In the past a couple of years I have had thousands of transactions with not a single problem. **** does happen which is out of my control and I have no problem correcting problems. I have been doing business for over 8 years on this forum with very few complaints. Never ripped anyone off or stolen money like many other businesses.

He didnt pay with a credit card. When he made the order he used paypal. If it was a card I wouldnt have charged it until the item was in stock.

Well, I got a reply within 12 hours to the email I sent. If it's truly a backorder issue with the manufacturer, then it's not his fault. Even so, I wasn't aware that this kind of thing would have to be backordered, as it says on the site that is usually ships in one to two days, and makes no mention of backordering.

I just need the radiator by the time school starts, haha.

 

The site says we process orders in 1-2 days. If any item is on backorder that I know of I email the customer when I enter their order. Some times I dont find out something is on backorder for a few days which is usually what causes the problem.

Well, I didn't get a notice it was on backorder until I just emailed you yesterday, two weeks or more after the order. But, I understand **** happens.

 

You can't take the guys Money and the not ship for two months. That is wrong.

And now, since the 30 has passed, He can't even dispute the payment with paypal

do the ethical thing and refund the guys money. Once you get the product in hand you can then ask for money

ive never had any problems. i have had to wait a couple times but jasons a good guy. 2 months is a bit of a wait but i can assure you hes not out to screw anyone.

 

The transactions i made with credit card, worked flawlessly, without a hitch and i never was charged for the items until he had them in his hands, or when they got shipped out.

RX7Store may be a bit slow due to the amount of business they have, but they are honest and reliable.

 

1st of all why did you refund my money I never complained about anyone trying to steal my money i know what the deal is EXACTLY!I am a buisness owner as well if i wanted a refund i would have simply asked for it .The problem here is ive waited almost 2 months for the pipes and without any phone call email or anything you send me a paypal with no explination whatsoever is that really smart buisness jason ?i dont understand how someone lites you up and retaliate against me [the customer] i never questioned your loyalty to your customers or accused me of anything at all I stated the facts and the facts had nothing to do with flaming you or your buisness you have no control over your backorders nor do i in my buisness If i had a problem with it i would have never waited this long The fact is now i have waited for two months for NOTHING I still do not have pipes ******* lovely!!

 

i straight got cheap hardpipes off ebay and they look great and i got them in less thena weak i love them

 

+1 on ebay hardpipes .... but yes rx7store has the parts you need they do take just a tad longer than others but even so they do have great prices on things.

 

Yeah man I don't know but I never had a problem with my many orders and I live in Canada. That means shipping is a bitch!
