2 months and still waiting
I'll quote a post I made about 5 days ago in the Good Guy/Bad Guy section.
I just recieved my Hose Techniques silicone vacuum hose kit from RX7Store.net today.
Took a little bit longer this time around than my first purchase from them 7 months ago (downpipe + high-flow cat), but it was as expected because of the big disclaimer they currently have on their site about being flooded with orders right now.
Will definitely be giving them more buisness in the future.

1st of all why did you refund my money I never complained about anyone trying to steal my money i know what the deal is EXACTLY!I am a buisness owner as well if i wanted a refund i would have simply asked for it .The problem here is ive waited almost 2 months for the pipes and without any phone call email or anything you send me a paypal with no explination whatsoever is that really smart buisness jason ?i dont understand how someone lites you up and retaliate against me [the customer] i never questioned your loyalty to your customers or accused me of anything at all I stated the facts and the facts had nothing to do with flaming you or your buisness you have no control over your backorders nor do i in my buisness If i had a problem with it you would have never waited this long Tthe fact is now i have waited for two months for NOTHING I still do not have pipes ******* lovely!!
If your not bashing me or my business then why come on here and post about this, if this backorder is not something I can control and is not my fault? You couldnt handle this thru a PM or email? I have responded to your emails and let you know what was going on. No plausible reason to come in here and post about this when you already have the answers.
ok, first off. i have given jason some business here and there. he has alot to offer for an unbeatable price. i got like a JDM from lip for nothing! also those m-spec greddy intercoolers, yeah, they are cheap too! if you want things for a good price, then you are going to have to wait.
people call out ramy too. he is a good guy. parts sometimes will take a while, but that is all in the game. common sense will tell you that our cars are rare and stocking parts for a rare care creates overhead for things that typically dont sell; all this from a manufacture perspective. so rounding up these parts will take a little bit. i have owned my FD for about 3 years and have always waiting for 3 months on my goods. that is just the nature of the beast. then again, my FD is always broken, so i have all the time in the world :-)

I bought the newer GReddy boost gauge from Jason a few months back when they were still kind of new on the market. I'll admit that I was a little frustrated at the slow turnaround time, but it was nothing compared to what I went through to get a PFC amidst the Apexera bankruptcy/restructuring. In fact, the only FAST purchases I have EVER made have been from individuals who had ONE part, posted about it, took PayPal, and dropped the box in the mail.
Everyone with a business has overhead, and people need to understand that.
I had acquaintances who owned a store and warehoused their goods so they'd ship fast. It was great for a few months, but the minute demand exhausted the supply, orders started getting canceled. Without income on fast sales, keeping the stock on hand refreshed became too difficult. I remember one of the owners telling me that the cost of keeping $500,000 worth of product on the shelves was closer to $1,000,000 when you think about the net losses on any product that doesn't sell, losses on products that sell slowly, and losses on products purchased at a higher wholesale price than was available when the item finally sold. Never mind the cost of renting the extra space, insuring it, and staffing it. They closed shop after about two years. As a business, not even the initial investment was recovered.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I've worked with Jason and rx7store.net and was ultimately pleased. I will continue to purchase from him in the future, though it will always be on parts I can afford to wait on. Of course, that's how mail-order purchases go. You're an idiot if you expect that when you click on a picture of what you want, especially if it's a particularly quality item, it will magically arrive on your doorstep in a day (or a week).
