Saw this on my facebook wall and immediately was like "wtf?!?!"


I tried searching around but the closest information I can find is that its an electronically assisted turbo.

 

Guessing from the fact that it says ALS (anti-lag switch) on and the youtube page description mentions external combustion I'm going to assume it's an normal anti-lag system. Lots of aftermarket ECUs have the programming for it built in already to have it turned on and off when wanted. You'll probably see a lot of arguments about whether it's safe for the turbo and how aggressive you should go, ect ect ect...
