well,
went to atlanta w/ some friends to get his FC Rx-7 tuned and had a blast just being around that many cars. here are some pics of the day. i have loads of footage as well that ill upload tomorrow but im too tired right now. got to take a ride in an FD that was insanely clean and very fast!!! it was a fun day.

The three rotor is David Hayes' car. How did he do on the dyno? Also, you have an interesting sig pic, care to explain it ?

 

well the 20B was having some voltage issues so at 10psi it only made 480whp but I would take it that was the first time I have met David and the guy is really cool enjoyed talking to him I am tryed to make a deal with him on selling me the car for 15 bucks since that was all that I had on me but he didnt go for it darn and yes there is some good futage of the 20B doing some pulls and shooting some flames.

 

I also got a chance to meet and talk with David. And yes, he is a cool guy. Hope you enjoyed the ride home David

 

steve is taking davids car back to dallas with him so they can sort out the voltage problem.

 

In some of the footage I took you can definitely see the lights dim at what I would imagine to be 7krpm. It's sad that David didn't get to take his car back home with him -- it wasn't a reunion after all .

Hopefully he'll have it together for Deal's Gap. You guys better get some good footage -- I'll be in the garage hopefully (fingers crossed) putting the motor in.

I'll post my in-car ride with David's 20b as soon as I can. Don't laugh at the giddy school girl comments.

Okay so I finally put a little something together. I left it uncut because I really didn't take enough to do much with. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy it and I hope it conveys a little bit of what it was like to ride in a 20b FD. I really focused on the engine speed and the sounds of the car, but my equipment isn't the greatest

i love how you used the word "Only" for 480 whp~!!! 3 rotor makes it look easy I guess... that's probably faster than anything else on the road~ such a nice car~ wish I can afford a 3 rotor~
