it was a GT3 , S2000 and a T2 of some sort correct ?

 

nope 911 with gt3 wing gt3's have center exhaust

they were porsche gt3, s2000 and t2. the t2 wasn't really running slow, and yeah he help up on his own, but there was a little bit of hesitation in cornering, i guess he could have a better handling and performance, if he had wider wheels and tune his suspension.

 

Wow that was some craptastic driving by everyone.

 

+1. Search "touge" on youtube and you'll find tons of better vids. Look for the one with the RX8 and the E36 M3, it was in 35 degree weather.

That looked slow as ****, looked like they cruised the whole thing. A real run consists of mostly WOT and hard braking, that was more like partial throttle and engine braking.

 

Sounds like the TII making a ton of noise, but it actually looked reasonably quick to me. I dont know how wide the angeles crest highway is, nor do I know the general speed for the corners. However, if you were to do the same thing on most bay area mountain roads, you would be going pretty freakin fast.

Edit: And the S2k camera car looks to be in the upper portion of the rev range, so he should be going pretty fast, though I don't quite recall the gearing on the Ap2.

Edit 2: AP2 tops out in second around 58mph.
