Is that a blow off in between shifts? I keep listening over and over and here swish at the shifts.....not tires.

Yeah, i'd say the 7 won that one. A 10.70 ET with only a 129 trap? Either the driver stabbed the brakes at the 1000 or let off early. 129-132 traps with a 10 second ET is pretty obvious someone let off

Nice car, did you upgrade the internals to run the turbo setup? Or did you run low boost?

 

Yes, upgraded the pistons,heads,etc.

 

Ls1rx-7 did you peviously own a rotor Rx7?

 

No, A couple of my friends have owned them (2nd,3rd gen) Both had really bad reliability issues.Could have been lack of knowledge on maintenance and stuff or just ragging them out.I just prefer the performance of a piston motor,but love the looks of a 3rd gen!

Hehe...that video was taken curtousy of....ME. lol I got that run on video at Steele, AL. Thats my then fiance, now current wife yelling "smoke his ***" and "oh shiiiiit" at the end. lol It was a good run, I've showed that video more times than I can count. Let me know if you want the full DV quality version. I think I have it on my computer somewhere.

do u have any pics on what the shifter looks like in the car? I have been doing research on the motor swap and I am finally going to do it. I am going to start on my project at the end of next year. During next year though Ill be working on my suspension mods to support the motor and extra power. Love the ride.
Oh yea one more thing...is the 500hp at low boost or high boost and this question u dont have to answer or u can e-mail me if u dont want to post it....but I was wondering how much it cost u to do the swap with the single turbo setup? Im trying to weigh some options? (jaz_one@hotmail.com)

 

Don't have any pics yet ,I'll update my cardomain page as soon as I get the car back from paint and put the interior back together.The actual hp is 580 @ wheels @14 psi I'lllook @ the paper work and let you know via email.
