That's pretty funny. At least I didn't have to get drunk and repost it myself. My best pass was actually 11.53 that day, with 4 more high 11s to back it up all at 124 mph. It was my first time ever on 15 psi, and my second time ever at the track with the car. Tank was full, and I had an ACT stage 1 clutch and street tires. So there's my exuses for the 1.9s 60' times.
Sad part is, to this day I have not improved my time. The next time I went I had a total clutch failure and barely managed to edge out a C6 Z06 with a low 12. The time after that I broke my tranny on the first launch. And the last time, I tried full slicks for the first time, and ran a 12 sideways since my line locks broke and I had no burnout. Then it rained for the rest of the day. Then I drove my car every single day until it developed an ignition problem.
So now all I do is and watch this same *** video... but I'll see you guys Jan. 1st at the new Dade county drag strip !!!
Thank you for posting the vid and glad you liked it. Rx-7s are capable of so much more, mine is a rather conservative setup.

Damn with a launch you are at 10's

Trust me if i can pull an 11.8 with only a 116mph trap on a good launch, then you have a 10sec car

If you can pull a 1.6 60ft you have it

LOL at the 300hp acura, that's a stock acura TL, why'd he run so many times?

Was he big turbo black rx7 having issues towards the end of the run? he had to brake hard for it at the end.

anyway very nice runs!

Nice FD, I have a white one also with a t78

I feel your pain, a few years ago I was running 12's with my stock twins.

Since I got my T78, its been nothing but a teething process. First time on the track I couldnt get one clean pass. My motor mounts were shot. Got those fixed , but my tech f-ed up my fuel system and I was down for the latter half of the season. I did finally get two clean passes at the last test and tune of the year.

12.8 at 118mph.... with street tires at 13psi ..granny shifting ..

Thanks. The Acura and I just happened to be next to each other several times. We were both too focused on our own cars to be concerned about it. He was convinced he'd run 14s, and left a bit disapponted. The black Rx-7 I ran was stock, the big turbo one was a copper red color. He did have to let off since he leaned out in 3rd and blew the engine. That pass would have been good for low 12s I think. He made it all the way home to Miami with the blown engine, and rebuilt it himself.
Nuvolari, I'm sure you could run deep into the 10s with slicks and 20 psi.

What??? I clearly said that if "I" can run an 11.87 at 116 mph, that "HIS" car is capable of 10's if he is trapping 124mph

Oh... and there is a vid of my run to prove if you doubt

I am perty sure that it is you who has to read slowly and concisely.... not me
