Yeah, I second the Racing Beat Rev TII/ full exhaust sound clip. I hear it's really great and all... but... I've never heard it and can't compare it to all the other exhaust sound clips I see.

It's a pretty civil system as far as sound goes. If you want something that screams "rotary" to people, stick to a single-exit system.

I've got the RB REV T2 and i love it. Its not too loud but gives a very nice low tone.

i searched and found you a clip, this is pretty much what mine sounds like. It also sounds very good when there is a load on the engine (ex. speeding down the road)

^^^^ That's my GTU :-P

Non-turbo..

Online, they might sound similar. In real life, totally different beasts (sound-wise).

The full RB turboback sounds really good. But, in my experience, it sounds BETTER with the pre-silencer removed, with a straight-pipe in its place. It's not LOUD without it, but it has the growl that it deserved to have in the beginning.

I really wish I had taken 2 seperate clips of my T2...with the pre-silencer its far to quiet (but note: I'm 16. It might be too quiet to ME, but could be too loud to more mature tastes).

the info says "true duals" but it looks like you have a standard RB Y Pipe...

10-4 on that! lol i just had my front mount installed today and while he was at it i got him to cut out my pre silencer on my RB turbo back and replace it with a straight pipe <------ . WOW what a difference... it sounds great. same sound but amplified by 10. very nice deep throaty sound at idle.
If i can get ahold of a decent camera i'll take a vid of it.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread, but does anybody have a video of this exhaust? I'd really like to hear it too.

Its on the quiet side of turbo-back exhaust. cops will not notice you. if you want to compare loudness, its about the same as a g35/350z

Yeah, but I wonder what the exhaust note is like just coming from the turbo to the RB mufflers.

I know straight pipe sounds like **** on rotaries( too ting tingy for me) but RB's might have a interesting tone. At idle that is, I already know what I am in store for at WOT.

Lets hear the clip!! I would just do this to my car but it has a case of "Oh **** I spun a rotor bearing road racing" flu.

Spin a bearing and you won't need anyone to tell you it happened, you will definitly know. Lots of gas and back firing trying to start.
