I was thinking of painting my fd flat black. I was just interested in peoples opinions, and if anyone has pics i would appriciate it

IMO it will kill the lines of the car. Do what you want though, it's your car. I would probably think twice before fcking w/a flat black FD lol.

if you do it, PLEASE do it right. like with real paint from a real shop or professional. i swear if someone rattlecans an FD i'll lynch them.

The car is getting some body work done and im afraid how the match with the monteigo blue will come out. I know my spelling is nasty. How about a satin black? maybe maybe not??

that almost looks like a 3d render.... problem with flat black is that it retains moisture

if the body work is done by a pro there should be no signs anything ever happened

Matching it will not be a problem. Any good body shop will do a blend panel next to the repair to ensure a match.

Dude I was driving home and was thinking about painting my fd satin black,how ironic someone was thinking the same thing the same week.I think it would give a new/diffrent look to a Rx7 but im not sure what to about rims.I dont care to much for bronze.I say do it and then post pics...I would love to see.

^^^ true dat, i was playing mostwanted, here made a Lambo that looks very similar to the Bat Mobile, but i really like that Satin Black with Bronze rims, i like it alot, looks similar to the White with bronze or gold rims, i seem to really like those color combo's alot:P oh well lots of time to dream........

just do it right. automotive flat black with a flat clear. for the best outcome. if i was to do this i would get gold rims. but i just got a new paint job that will last for a little while.

Flat is like primer. Satin has a little bit of shimmer in the light. The civic is satin.

Have someone of you seen the dragon performance rx-7? I did see it in max power(i think) and that paint job looked ghetto.. You could see everything, every little bump or scratch.. Other than that, fine...
