Exclamation protect from theft

i've got four 10in L7's in my fc vert with a 3000 watt spl amp and wanted to know if there is a security system that would be good for a vert cause a vert is easy to break into and there has been theft going on lately by where i live

Trunk Monkey would be a good system for you...

Seriously though, I would suggest something with an immense capability for sensors... There's really not too much that is going to stop someone other than the intimidation of the alarm sounding, but most thieves can shut up the siren in just a few seconds. I would suggest get enough sensors to have some peace of mind and listen for your alarm to sound so you can beat some *** =)

Yea, if someone is going to steal your stuff, it is gone.. not a lot you can do about it.

Alarms are quickly bypassed, and most people don't listen to them.

A friend of mine used some cable and tied down most of his stuff. Also welded a bracket in the back of the dash and ran a cable to his stereo....

Also, don't let anyone know you have it in your car...

The last time i put a nice system in a car, it got jacked hella quick.

$3000 system, 1 week. Sounded good for that one week though. And I even kept it down while driving through my neighborhood so that no one knew what I had...

Well, i lock my trunk. I have a keyhole down by "pop trunk" thing on the floor. I turn it to the locked position with my master key and then no one can pull the lever and pop my trunk. You have to have the master key to get into my trunk from the outside or inside of my car. I also got a badass alarm that will sound if my box is moved from it's designated spot in my trunk.

thing is you need a seperate batterey like a motorcycle batterey for the alarm system hidden from view, and very hard to get to so it saves you some time, or just get a 2way alarm with extra sensitive sensors so when someone come within 2 meteres it beep and says"get the **** back bitchface". Probably possible just a thought.

If you have speakers in the trunk, just disconect the cable that releases the trunk from inside the car. That way you cant get in the trunk without a key. Also, just keep stuff as hidden as possible. In the vert, you have a lot of room to put stuff under the think that supports the top when its down.

I think to be on the safe side you need to handcuff you car to your hand, that should stop the thieves.

welding sounds like a possible idea but how did he mount the bracket and where exactly on the dash is it welded? i also thought about have a friend of mine make like a cage to put over the amp and weld it down cause the back is gutted out and there are lots of places to weld
