FINNALLLYYY!
the rx7 wins for a change..
the FD always seems to get it's butt kicked in the Best motoring videos.. what an embarrassment for us Rotor heads.. dunno why the FD seems to do so bad on Tsukuba circuit.... at least this time we came out on top...

I have a Tsukuba 5 lap battle between an NSX Type S, NSX Type S-Zero, R33 Skyline GT-R, R34 Skyline GT-R V-Spec, Lancer GSR Evolution V, Lancer RS Evolution V, and Rx-7 Type RS. The Rx-7 won I would post, but I have no way of doing it. It also 93meg.

Badass vid, i've had this saved on my comp for some time now and it never wants to play on Windows media player. For those who have it, try Quicktime player, it works perfect for me.

Damn, that video definitely demonstrates the heft of the GT-R. The MCR machine has over 600hp, but because it understeers so heavily and weighs so much, it can't keep up with a lighter, nimbler, but less powerful FD wins. The GT-R was clearly faster in a straight line, though, and on a more open track I think it would be a much closer race.

the other video that's being talked about where the FD regulated, that's a Type RS. i think it's when the 99's first came out. it beat out the R34. it was, however, driven by Gan-san so i think driver makes a big difference in best motoring's races. in any case, FD's should be expected to do well on touges due to its light weight and intrinsic handling advantage, as opposed to the big and heavy skylines, however nice they are
in most other instances however best motoring does seem to be slightly biased against rotaries. i feel you can definitely tell their lineup of favorites, namely hachirokus, GT-R's, Z's, evo's and wrx's

Mm...The GTR has a scramble boost function which was really interesting . The weight of the skyline really make it understeer badly. May be on a real circuit , the out come would have been different . With that all said .. THE 7 CAN'T LOSE !

Consider a visit to your local head trauma unit some time. A Snell rated helmet comes much cheaper than a neurosurgeon. Racing without one: that's what I call ignorance.
