No they don't. I've seen Tsuchiya almost crash a couple of times(Best Motoring:Super Car Battle). Even mid drift recoveries that are amaizing. He sometimes makes me want to stop driving because I'll never be that good.

The wins constantly. Out now at Tower Records, Best Motoring: Battle at 10,000 RPM Tsuchiya in the yellow Panspeed FD 3 rotor. and he starts in the back of the pack. Its a battle of the NA's at Tskuba Circuit.

Even Fritz would crap his pants if he sat in the ARTA NSX during a JJGTC race in the rain. Its documented that knowone has ever gotten faster times than tsuchiya in the rain. His controlled oversteer is perfect.

yeah out all the BMI's the FD's that show up dont win to much, either because of some kind of problem or when they race them factory spec, something gives out (tires, brakes)

the only FD i can think that pretty much wins each time it goes out is the RE 3rotor FD3S, except on that dvd "TUNERS ROYAL" it got got owned by them GTR's <3 mines.

i <3 best motoring.

i heart <3 best motoring.

The Skyline crash was not Tsuchiya or Ordido. It was Kobayashi, and he got his head shaved for that.

Then they were gonna shave Koko's head if Tsuchiya beat him in his own car at the MY Car Challenge

Sounds kind of silly, but the color of that Re-FD is simply gorgeous...doesn anyone know the color code for that? I want it on my to-be FD!

It looks like Aqua...but darker...it's so damn nice..someone let me know!

really? i know there was a crash when they were driving the s15, an fd, the supra, and a skyline. the skyline rear-ended the s15 if i remember correctly....****, lemme look at it again. i only have 6 or these things in my box...
on another note, there was this ONE video where tsuchiya almost loses it in an nsx and recovers with a full 360-spin. i was like, "wtf?!" i think he still got 2nd place too. of course, thats why hes "dori-dori".

Ry.

Yup, thats it. that was a good battle. the japanese stock production versus the ferrari battle was good too! i believe there was an nsx and a s5 Rx7 in that one. thats the one that keiichi recovered with the 360...nice

Thank you guys !!

RE-A FD got 3 straight wins.
Two drivers say that RE-A FD is much better than Skyline GTR except for horse power.
Our FD is just a boost-up-mod car, stock motor (no port mod ) stock turbines.
Only 370 HP.

Coincidentally, I just watched this battle a few hours ago via DVD. It's the recent "Rocket Rotary" DVD from Hot Version (best motoring). It features mostly RX-8 stuff, but it's all great. I'll be doing a review of it for IGN.com. If anybody checks this thing out, has any worthwhile comments about the DVD, and wants to get name-dropped in the article, send me a pm and we'll see what comes of it. The battle is pretty great, though, huh? Nice to see another rotary get Tsuchiya's "100" score.

Yo, Doc

I have that vid you were talking about where Kawasaki ***-Ends Keiichi. Dori Dori was in the ( Boss ? ) S15 ... without ABS apparently, and Kawasaki was in his privately owned R34. Orido was in his privately owned Supra, big surprise, and I think that lanky ******, Hattori was in the chameleon paint Yumekobo FD.

I think the name of the vid was Final Showdown. Or Final Production Show Down. Pretty sure it was Final Showdown though. You can find fairly quickly on Kazaa++.

I just want to say somethgin in the fd's defense. In every BMI vid ive seen involving the FD(5 or 6) they always have the same privately owned 500-600hp supra and r34 versus completely stock FD's. Its completely unbalanced and yet the FD leads a huge part of the time.

Rousuke: That was a RE-Amemiya FD3S not PanSpeeds. I love the way keiichi comments that he over-reved the 20B to over 10000rpms

mono4lamar: RE-Amemiya has their own suspension kits. I think they are Quantum.

yeah, the battle at 10,000 rpms bmi was awesome. mind you that that one was also subletted as "Na vs Turbo". they had some na's and turbos car fighting each other while doing that vid--same race. the first 3-place finishers; 1st and 2nd were skylines--big surprise on the track circuit right? 3rd place finisher--N/A PP 3-rotor re-"Super-G" Fd. i mean, its like, "OF COURSE!" right?? aside from that, he said the suspension still wasnt tuned properly and he was within 2 seconds of their laptimes constantly. the only n/a car to competitively keep up with the skylines. i think the other turbo car was an evo??? but, that evo sucked. i mean, perfect balance man, the 3-rotor, extremely high rpm capabilities, still agile, and once its up in the powerband and you keep it there no real loss of power due to the rotary power curve--loves it. that was a good vid. hey, IF you want to ship some of those to me, i would love you long time!! anyway, let me know whats crackin' with that. i love bmi. i have like, 8 or so on my computer now. the full ones--but, there are a couple others that i wanted specifically. just cant remember at the moment. plus, im visiting a friend in norman right now, so my computer isnt here with me to check.

oh yeah--someone said that he never crashes. while this TECHNICALLY isnt a crash, keiichi was driving the yumekobo fd on race slicks, against an evolution, and s2000. the evo was driven by--the newer young guy, i cant remember his name. he won the nippon race. he lost it near the beginning when it started to rain. mind you, it was raining TORRENTIALLY!! i mean, on the vid you can see how bad it is. but, the fd was doing VERY well with keiichi driving. he was about to make a pass at the s2000, but he lost it and i believe he understeered. after that, they declared it too dangerous to race in the conditions. i think it was the spoon s2000. ALL cars had race slicks on for the battle as well! freaking driving like that on race slicks in the rain man. theyre pretty damn good--thats all i can say.

Amemiya's RX7 is the *****...I had the opportunity to ride in one during media day for GT Live a couple of years back...I wish I could say i enjoyed it...but i was scared shitless. I shot some footage of my ride and it was used in the JDM Mischief DVD.
