Very Nice. I'd like to see it compete in D1.

IDK just doesn't sound right to me. Cool car but v-8 noise in a FD is weird to hear.

Yeah, ashamed of more power without a pound of boost, much more torque, more reliability, and better fuel mileage. And it can knock without blowing up.

The reason we're not buying vettes is 1. they cost more 2. many of them arent as good as a RX-7 chassis in terms of handling 3. they weigh more.

If anyone should be ashamed its you for being so closedminded.

I personally liked the FD at the start of the Vid more (in front of the pack) and the sound of it at the end when the driver was getting out, personally not my cup of tee, theres a reason RX 7's have a Rotary and i when i get mine i'm keeping it that way, that sound is nice but not on a 7, it belongs with the huge weight, and torque of American Muscle not Japanese Technology. I hope the 1965 Barracuda i'm helping restores sounds like that, but not a 7 imagine a 1st gen sounding like that, everyone would hate on it, cause it just does not fit, same thing here, in my opinion, bu they can do whatever they want to their car. thats not drifting, that is making noise and wasting good tires, thats it.

So, because it doesnt sound like a rotary, and has torque, its bad? And since when was every american car a "muscle car" or posessive of "Extreme weight"? Do you really think that torque is a BAD thing to have?

If someone hated on a FB with a v8 in it for not sounding like a rotary then Id have just one thing to say to them if I was the driver that FB with a v8.. "Wanna race?".

Also, P.S., its "Genius", and Felix Wankel made the rotary engine, not the japanese.

you type of owners never get the point, your so focused on the gains that your completely blinded by the fact that its a rare car with a rare engine. imo i would never put a v8 into a rx7 just like i would never put a 1.3L into a 69 nova. the way i see it a v8 in a rx7 is kinda like putting a bright yellow interior in a red car... its just weird

Wow another Canadian that understands, no i'm not saying tourque is bad but let the V8 boys keep it in their american muscle cars, don't cross breed or else you end up with the honda ridgeline and chevy avavlanche, now tell me cross bredding is fine with you.

Is this kind of like saying black people and white people shouldn't get together?

Arrow

I started laughing out loud when nihilanthic mention us being ashamed of the v8's reliablity.

YOU sir should be ashamed that half the vids of that hinsen car consist of it stalling out while prepping and being unable to start again or it simply blowing up while running and blasting into a wall.

RELIABLE MY LEFT NUT!!!!
