Good to see that you got rid of those wheels. Major improvment IMO. I love black cars, not much better than that.

Looks good, those GXL wheels are ridiculous lol, I hated mine. I love old school mesh wheels, I want some wider ones but its hard finding 5 lugs.

Yeah from a Pontiac B-Ville... Picked all 4 wheels up for $77 @ the local yard. I wanted to find some Vert BBS wheels BUT they are only 15's...these 16's fit way better...plus I like the contrast of bronze with black.

well i have 25mm spacers on the front but other than that they are direct bolt-ons. So you guys think I should go black with the wheels? Leaving the lip chrome im assuming...?

ThanX for all the compliments btw.

Nice look, I also liked that you took off the GTU sticker. It makes the car look stealthy all black.

yes stealthy.... it hides the fact that its a non turbo GTU. the heaviest, slowest, worst gas guzzling FC, lol.

those wheels are the wrong bolt pattern. theyre going to fall off i dont see how theyre lining up well enough to bolt safely. RX7s are 5x4.5 and GM is 5x 4.75.

S5 GXLs are heavier than S5 GTU's. And verts are the heaviest, slowest FCs.

...There's always one...

It's all about the right spacers... They fit LIKE A GLOVE...lol
I've been riding them city/highway for about 2 months now and my wheelbase is wider and the car surprisingly handles a bit better.

The vert (as has been stated alread) is the heaviest/slowest FC. But wait, what about the base? Yeah, 140 hp really says "I have *****!" doesnt it?

You forget of course that the GTU has the best suspension (its not adjustable, but it had higher rates I believe) and it had 4piston calipers in 88. It also sported 160 some hp.

I dunno, gutted, no dash, and no passenger seat seemed to remedy the "weight" problem for me.
