so what if they are ugly (by your book) i've seen a few turbo'd busa's and they were dang fast but any busa is fast. and u can't argue the price...look at a new ducati compared to a new hayabusa, there is no comparison IMO of course

Actually, the fastest top speed in street class, is now a gsxr 1000. It came out about 3 months ago in sport rider magazine. When i find it ill try to scan it.
And yea busas are okay, but i want lightweight, good handling small bike. I had a gsxr 750 and loved it, im either gettign the new 750 or 1000...hmm

And btw, im surprised ppl posted lol, tahts cool. So yea shoot me if u want once again lol.

Im not surprised alot of rotary heads are gixxer fans. They are uncomfortable, impractical, not the sexiest look but something about it intimidates you, plus it is relatively cheap compared to it's competition and basically it is an all out performance oriented bike, ...(somewhat like an rx7 in my opinion)

And that's where the Ducati would eat you alive. But then again I'm a born and raised Ducati fan. My dad's had a 900 monster for about as long as I can remember, and I have a 916. They just fit me and the way I like to ride. No other bike sounds as nice as a Ducati either. imo.

Gixxer would smoke a monster in the twisties. The 916 would be much more closely matched to a gixxer. and yes, ducks do sound very nice. but so does any sport v-twin with a yosh pipe or better.
good taste in bikes though. you and your dad.

oh yeah the monster would get smoked. I meant the 916 aginst the busa, sorry wasn't very clear. Yeah I love v-twins, except harley's. My dad wants to find an old fb or something and put a ducati v-twin in there. Gotta go with a Ducati one so we get the desmo valves It'll be funny if we ever end up doing it.
