Some white people are unbelievable. How is some country hick who does'nt know what drifting is, is going to the country where it originated and beat the locals at their own game??? Thats like Tarzan talking to the animals but the black people who have lived there in Africa for centuries are unable to do this. INCREDIBLY REDICULOUS!!!

Not to get all evil sounding or anything, but to some of us this is NOT a hobby. It's just how we live, I'm not really into drifting much...it's a fantastic thing don't get me wrong, but "grip" driving is much more rewarding to me. I'm gonna gonna see this because they have drifting, I'm still the same before people all of a sudden decided to wake up and realize drifting existed (I really hate when things older than dirt all of a sudden become "new" and "hip"), I will not be drifting my FC unless I'm trying to save my *** at a track event or something. I think this movie will be a very bad thing when it does come out, you saw what happened when all the kids saw the first movie (not so much with the 2nd one though, thank God!) and then cops were everywhere! I'm sure that all of a sudden everyone with a front drive car and the few who own a rear drive car will swear they're "drifters" and bang new laws will be made every other second. It makes me sad thinking about how many people will get fucked up (and sadly enough DIE) over this super hollywood push to make money. It really would be nice if they put some real thought into making the movie instead of just calling Keichi Tsyuchia and saying put your name on this and drive a demo car for a billion dollars, and calling that research/realism. In a way I'm kinda surprised he's involved with the movie, but then again it IS a lot of money, and I think it would be pretty hard to turn down. Then again...there are no rules saying you can't talk crap about a movie you were in after the check has been signed (ask Ludacris ).

Okay I think I've said enough for now, I'll see you all there...sheeit I might not even drive my 7 there just to avoid the people I can't stand that will obviously be there (it'd be nice to slip in under the radar...not to mention imagine how many cops that'll be watching EVERY SINGLE PERSON driving into the parking lot).

Don't forget Rhys(sp?) Millen.....and you can't confuse hollywood with real life....blame the kids doing the stupid stuff not the movie....just because you see it on screen doesn't mean you should do it...granted the movies did make the industry alot better...better prices and more parts available....and the value of the cars went up.

Of course, a REALISTIC version of the Tokyo racing scene would be far too subdued (ie, boring) for a Hollywood movie...

So instead they just made a movie version of NFSU...

I suppose it might be decent in it's own way, as an over the top racing drama (just like the first two crappy movies)... but god, it's going to be horrible.
