Looks like you could really use the HID kit, still not a fan of the lambo doors...but to each his own.

You ride slicks on the street? Also, you changing the paint or keeping the same color?

i dont think the doors look to bad on the rx7, i think its more of the civic and what not using them and it killed the image, i only think those doors should be on the exotic cars.

hope to see the car soon

Doors don't look bad, not as bad as your tires!!. I will be using the GT Factory kit. Like the straight up look instead of hanging to the side.

Same doors I will be ordering. I love their true vertical look versus the butterfly approach like most other companies offer.

Lambo doors do not belong on an FD.. Just an opinion tho.. as long as you enjoy them.. But Im sure a few others will agree.. :smiley_12

They do help people get in the car much easier. I could see if you were a rather larger person it would be much easier getting in. I hurt my back playing golf, and it takes a lot of pressure off of my back getting into the car now. Heres a pic of my doors, seems like his doors swing up pretty high.

Nice doors. I did my doors over a year ago. Took me about 10 hours. Never had a problem with them. They look very natual on the FD. If it wasn't for the Vertical doors I would have had to take my doors off when I installed my roll cage.

kafka91,

Did you (or a shop) do a custom setup? It's obviously not like the kits out now as your door go straight up like the old RE conversion.

The hinge is from GT Factory. I did the install. It was pretty easy if you’re comfortable welding, other than that the company has very detailed install instructions.

http://www.aerokits.net/DiabloHinge/gtf.htm

I had to bondo the holes from the old hinges.
