True it wouldn't have AS much velocity, but it would still be kicking through well enough. 5.3L V8's push a lot more exhaust than we do.

Why is the wastegate at the rear of the car? Does that mean the turbo is in the back also?

Coming from the thunderbird club, a lot of V8 guys have no room to put in a turbo, specifically if you've got one of Fords Modular engines in a car that was meant to have a six cylinder in it.

The STS is rear mounted, it doesn't have any adverse effects, they did a bunch of math on the tbird club and it doesn't have any more than what you would have with it mounted up high and also you're getting the benefits of not having a glowing turbo in your engine bay area.

Yes, they make for a bad *** car, civics are nothing to mess with when modded, I've seen LS/LT1's get snuffed on the ground locally by a civic that you would never would have thought would whoop your ***, well except for the CRAPPY sounding exhaust, still fast as hell though.

we'll one of my friends who owns a civic once said "no matter what I do it it's still a civic" no smarter words have ever been said from a civic owner. and with all of those mods if he ever trys to sell it i bet it won't sell for the same price as a bone stock FD.

BTW, you can use synthetics in rotary. Im doing it. Though I would say that mobil is also spitting out misinformation and myths

That civic is a turd. That camaro is a 12.00 at BEST and im being generous. I have never seen great results from that STS turbo kit on F0body cars, especially 6 speed ones.

How many 8-cyclinders to you see running single turbos setup anyways, but there is a replacement for displacement, money.

so a civic that runs 11.99 or better (by your numbers) is slow?
Ok, I know I'm getting old but thats not slow for a 4cyl. in my book.

What's the new Z06 running in the 1/4 mile?

11.7 @ 116 on the new z06, but thats from road and track and who knows what their 60ft time was. On a slick with some suspension it should go low 11s. considering it weighs 3100 some odd pounds and has 500rwhp.
