I went to the Memphis Motorsports Park and entered my silver EVO in the autox put on by the SCCA and had a blast. The EVOs took first in class and first overall.

I put together a short vid with some of the RWD cars going off the track and the EVOs making a couple of passes

Try to compare your car with other 4X4's like sub's etc.... Apples vs apples.

This is a pointless post, I don't know why I'm responding to it... I was at the SCCA National Tour this weekend, and the fastest run (besides a gokart) was done by a CSP miata, beating all the AWD, so there!

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder - but damn those cars are ugly. I've never thought they were an attractive car- nice performance for an AWD 4 door sedan though, just not my style. It's also not my style to troll other forums and show vids of my car or other 3rd gens passing evos at track days but I digress.
But then again, we didn't seen RX-7's in the video but that goes back to other people's post - why post it here?

Nice bounce of the rev limiter twice when the car passing infront of the camera too. Did they make you take out the groceries and kid safety seat in the rear before the run?

The wrx's, Sti's ,and evo's have been consistantly outhandled and outclassed on every track that isnt dirt since they came into production. That is all.

FYI Common opinion is that EVO's are boy racer cars which are cheap/tacky (but fast) - like a sierra cosworth.

They are not a drivers car.

RX7's are not only legendary, they are far more exclusive and a lot more classy.

They are THE drifting car

Nice post dude and nice driving..I have also done some cleaning up at the autoX's with my EVO MR..Some tracks are better for different cars, but the evo is good on any track under any condition..

 

Correction, AWD is easier to handle on any track under any condition. Nice Evos btw.

 

Ok correction, evo's are NOT GOOD...I don't troll this forum because I have an evo and hate on rx7's, I have one and I like it very much, probably just as much as my evo..
