Wow Verry nice!

What Nav system is that? I was thinking about getting this one since it would match the interior well including the color of the lights but getting a Mazda unit would be a plus. Also how was the install and is the unit always at an angle like that?

http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/portable-...ers-226735.php

Edit, I just read an older post of yours saying that the Nav unit is an Avic D1 so I guess an older unit than the D3 that I posted??? How do you like it?

Thanks for any info.

,Jason

+1, that pretty much sums up everything to do with that car!!!!!

Honestly one of my favorite FD's right there, because it's ALWAYS so clean and EVERYTHING is VERY tastefully done. (I mean that sincerely)

I played with the D3, and i'm thinking about swapping it out! (since D3 is cheaper) The D1 had a "tilt function" which let's you have it in 5 different angles. I had it on tilt 2 (you can change it on the fly via button) because it was easier for me to access.

But i want a D3 for one reason - match interior color. Why I dont' want a D3:

single optical drive.

this means that if you're listening to a CD, and you want to go somewhere via navigation, you would have to pop out the music cd, put in the navigator cd, put in your coordinates, let it process, take out the navigator cd, put in your music cd... and VOILA! You're set!

My D1 (with D2 software-customized by moi) had a dual slot system... kind of miss that...

Thanks for all the info!! Ya having to swap out CD's sound kind of like a PITA. I iwll have to do a bit of research to figure out what I want in there.

PS, ya if you have a hi-res version please post it up in the 3rd gen picture thread. I would love to have it as my background since I am getting tired of the current one I have.

On the plus side, It does have a wireless bluetooth connection so you can stream mp3's through bluetooth and an IPOD connector built in with really awesome ipod controls! It also has a USB connector if you don't have an IPOD and has the standard controls for that, if you don't wanna use CD's.

It's either A3F or PZ. There are 2 codes for Brilliant Black which is why i mentioned both.
