CWest before and after

Picked up a used C west bumper (I think thats what brand it is haha), cut off the old wire mesh, put on new black plastic mesh (construction mesh). smoked 99 style lights from ebay. I could not get these with the harness, so I wittled away at the new housings and made the stock 94 turn signal bulb holder fit. I finished one, copied it on the other, and go figure, the bulb holders are slightly different on each side (one must have been replaced at some point). So out came the dremel to do some more cutting. Rather than trim the new housing more to fit the 94' driving light bulb holders, i found that the side turn signal bulb holders fit perfectly, so i spliced them in, the only downside is that the bulbs are a bit smaller and they look a little dim.

I also took the opportunity to put HID's in my hi beam so now i can actually see. I had put a larger projector from a Lexus in the EVO-R kit, and the H3 bulb wasn't bright enough to project through the lens. The new vendor on here came at just the right time and new ballasts and H3 HID bulbs only cost me 60 bucks. They are bright now, i can finally aim my HID low beams (stock from the EVO R kit) down now so they don't have to double as hi's and I can stop blinding people.

The fitment is decent, it already came painted black, but its easy to see that it was once red. Definitely could use a bit more work, but it is good enough for now until I put the panspeed flares on and paint the whole car next spring.

Looks nice, however, that "construction" mesh looks really out of place. Just my .02.

Yeah, its not quite what I wanted, but its way better than the wire mesh that was on it. When I get it painted I'll look into something a little better. I've seen the stuff on JC Whitney made for grills, I'll probably go with that in black, do you know of anything better than that?

Haha, yeah my battery died as soon as the picture was taken, so the flash didn't work very well.

What do you think about not having a FMIC with this setup? I think the huge opening looks off without a big front mount. Think anyone would trade a front mount for the PFS race SMIC?

Not bad, I think oem side lights & new mesh would make it look a lot better though
Cwest can look awesome if done right, and bad if done wrong.
Here is a example of a good c-west front, the colour helps it a lot I think.

I don't really like the C West sides, I'm trying to figure out what sides to go with.

Looks good!

Don't agree with the people that say the stock bumper is better than the C-West front. The '99 spec certainly is though.

Thanks for the comments. I liked it at first, but its grown on me more everyday. Still haven't decided on the sides yet. I kind of like the ones that have a small circular duct down low near the back, can't remember the brand though. I'll look for a pic and post it up.

p.s. i just bought an 03 G35 coupe today, black to match, for $6k, haha, crazy deal for a daily driver

This is one of banzai's cars, I think they are old apexi skirts. If I can even find these, what do you guys think of them with my front? They would probably blend in with the car a little better on mine because its black.
