It shoots flames like that do to a anti-lag launch system called a 2-step.
This system allows you to make boost on free revs... without it being in gear and having load.

Along with what he said, a 2-step cuts spark to limit revs but not fuel. So there is still fuel being dumped in to help spool the turbo and it burns as it exits causing mass fire out the exhaust.

The driver doesnt suck. The car has that much power. So.. The drag set-up sucks. G

 

I might be wrong but I just bought the super compacto magazine ( sport compact pr version) and It has what I belive is that 7 on its front cover. If it is its a beast! I will post the specs on the car in a little bit.

 

If its the same one it ran 9.98 on the 1/4 mile @142mph and it 60' time was 1.48 seconds. It has 676whp, the mag doesn't show torque.

 

It is using a t78 at 30 psi along with nitrous, a microtech lt10s for ems, 4" custom exaust and it has a lot more goodies but its just to much to list. Gaby Skern is the tuner for this 7.
