Pics of Supercharger setup on Atkins Rotary and Camden Websites before going V8.

Atkins Rotary Website:

http://www.atkinsrotary.com/index.php?pag=2

Camden Superchargers too:

http://www.camdensuperchargers.com/index.php?pag=4

The Atkins family are just awesome folks. Boy did they help me with a ton of technical advice and support.

Just blew me away with their unparalled customer service.

Quote from past post:

"I put together the Camden Supercharger and ported 13B 6 port engine built by Nick Van Nugteren of Rotary Reliability and Racing back in 2005. I was taking this combination to 8500 + rpm (rotary engine rpm) which is close to the superchargers 13,000 rpm limit (with - 7 pulley). Eventually the supercharger lobes collided which each other and took out my rotary engine.
I was always happy with the rotary engine and Camden Supercharger setup. But to get the best results for drag racing I had to take the ported rotary engine to 8500+ rpm. Anything can fail when taken to its limits. That's the calculated risk I had to take to get the most from my setup. The Camden supercharger lived up to its intended purpose but by pushing the supercharger to its outer limits and beyond, failures can happen and rightfully so.

My experience with Andy and the Camden Supercharger has always been a very positive one. Andy went above and beyond to help me get my project finished and tuned with invaluable advice and tech support. He was always available when I needed the help. Which was a big bonus. I never felt I was alone on my own to figure everything out. I am very grateful for such great customer service.
Andy even rebuilt the supercharger with all new parts at no cost to me - now thats great customer service !!"

Setup is now on my friend Abel's FC. Gotta get some pics of his setup and send it to them. Abel cleaned up his enginebay way better than I had mine.

Alston Swing out side bars. Certified Aircraft Chro-moly Miltary Spec. Chassis not finished yet, lots of innovative work done by the chassis fabricator of the Terrible Herbst Trophy Truck Race Vehicles.

Custom BRASWELL Carb. Designed for Engine/Drivetrain/Chassis/Vehicle. 30 to 50+ hp over current carb. Huge difference over former old school Holley 750 DP.

Custom made front drag struts. Certified aircraft chro-moly, based on Porsche front strut to provide more shock extension, 14" spring, Koni internals tuned for application. Hopefully faster rate of lift and more front body lift before topping out to transfer weight better and faster than previous setup.

New and Previous (Drag Launch kit from Ground Control)

All Motor, always street driven. (DA 4227 elevation)

Baseline runs: conservative tune, 2300 rpm footbrake launch

Next time out a little more tuning. Will try to get as much out with 2500+rpm street converter. Then replace with a higher stall and trans brake.

VERY nice!
You are doing what I want to do with a rotary!
I know it can be done. Just a liitle harder to do with the wankel.
