Directfreak- Don't let that video bother you. Rather, that video just demonstrates how freakin' awesome your videos are. The guy in the white FB is well known around Detroit and respected for his driving skills and love of rotaries.
He actually built and tuned that FB himself, so much re-spect for that.

I just wanted to say that the original V8 Kila video is one of the sickest pieces of footage I have ever seen.... No jokes.
If the passes that were night passes would have been made in the day it would be THE best. Music downed when we want to ehre the car, nice cuts, music selection is good and the car is spectacular. Noone, myself included could not help but want and FD after seeing that video.
Big props,
Alex

I know both the owners of the white FB and the red FD, good guys I don't quite know what all the fuss is about. I can understand some frustration but I don't know if a thread was needed, but then again thats just my opinion. And yes junior broke the rear end on it this past weekend at nopi. As far as the "not that impressed" comment, damn dude what does it take?

I never said I wasn't impressed. I love Turbo first gens, and you gotta give props to any well done turbo rotary. Trust me, there are quite a few down here, that just don't post. I would actually love to see more pictures and videos of this car, as I have a collection of Turbo FB pics and vids. I understand now that the owner/builder had nothing to do with the video, so it's cool with me.
At the very least, I think the editor could have been a little more original than to use the same music and the same the same title. It's too much coincidence to believe he never saw the original video, when I still get emails daily about the original V8 Kila video.
He broke a Ford 9" rear end at Nopi??!! Damn!

The original V8Kila video helped me get respect for rotaries at my job where my FD is outnumbered by all kinds of Z06s and "V" Caddilacs. It is the most talked about one of 30 videos on a DVD I passed out to friends so they can learn about RX-7s. It's just a combination of the best car (FD) and the best tuner (Crispeed) and the best video maker (Directfreak). Sucks if someone copied, but by now that song is played out, and you are coming up with more original and creative styles. So screw it, and yeah props to any well built rotary regardless!

being a first gen owner, I must say that fb is a work of art. I'm sorry he stole from you. Your car is amazing as well.... but a 470hp 1st gen... thats bad ***!
