When your Battery dies on your Palm.

Ok,I am just curious here.
If you got your Ecu set to 720x4 and the Rtek 2.1 ECU is not running under a map, then I assume that the Rtek would remain set on that Setting.Right?
BUT,if you are running a Map on the Palm, and the Battery on the Palm Dies, would the Rtek just go back to the 720x4 setting?.
My car is not running on a Map yet,I would just like to know IF the ECU will revert back to the Injector setting when the Battery gags,(and the map disappears.).I would like to know what to Expect.
Thanks.

You don't need the palm to run the car. You just need it to do the inital setup/tuning. After that you can unplug it or let the battery die, and the settings will remain on the ECU. Mine has died a few times, and I just hotsync the programs all back on. The settings are always there when I plug it back into the car.

^^ yes^^ >>and your map is your map, if it's zero'd on 4x550, its zero'd when you swap to 4x720. IF your map is set to half 5% plus, and half to 10% plus on 4x550, and you change your injector setup, the map still adds half 5% plus, and half to 10% plus. It doesnt not zero it's self backout. when you change injectors/settings you will need to remap the fuel.
