Rtek so my NA is hitting boost
so my NA is hitting boost
i was just wondering about this after i installed a pill between my map sensor and manifold i took a few logs and noticed at full load (100% thorttle) after 6k the map sensor reads .1 PSI
and when this happens the car feels weird my guess is that the ecu does not know what to do with that input form the map
so is this normal?
side note when i put in the "pill" the map readings really smoothed out and the car seems very smooth at light thorttle.

Your car is always "boosting." Gravity boosts 100KPA (this is always "0" on a boost gauge) into your engine at sea level. At higher elevations, if you ran an N/A car and had a boost gauge you would see it wouldn't make a full "0" of vaccum.
Anyways... my bet is your MAP sensor is f'd or needs calibration.

The pill is a good idea to "filter" high frequency pulses out of the boost signal which results in better running.
The MAP sensor is an absolute pressure sender so the zero point will be affected by Barometric pressure. If the Barometric pressure is very low, it will read boost.
