Rtek 2.1 pulling timing

Is it normal for the rtek to pull timing and disregard my timing map? According to the logs when the map sensor is maxed out timin is 4.4 on the leading. I am running 16 psi. My question if it does automatically pull timing does it always pull the same amount or does this changed based on some formula. Thanks!!!

Not unless you are getting knock.

Will this still occur without a knock sensor?

According to your timing maps, what are you supposed to be running under those conditions?
