Rtek 2.1 dyno 414whp/341ftlbs, Borg Warner s360

Had the car on the dyno today to see what the new setup would pull. Only did two pulls, first pull was in third gear to make sure everything was good to go and then fourth right after.

Setup

Streetport s4 with thick castings, als apex seals rebuilt by Rotary Resurrection
Rtek 2.1
HKS cast mani
Borg Warner S360 .88 turbo
Tial 38mm wastegate
Greddy FMIC
FIC 1150's and Greddy 720cc injectors
rewired Walbro 255
Aeromotive fpr
BUR9EQ's all around
Jacobs FC1000 ignition on leading coil
MSD wires
3 inch downpipe to 2 1/4 duals
Greddy profec boost controller
PLX M300 wideband

Logs show 15.8psi for boost. Injector duty cycles got above 90% only after 6900rpm

Dayum is all I can say. I think this is the second time I have read about an rtek equipped car going above 400hp. The limitation that I can see to reach 400hp is the injectors, and the map sensor not reading more than 15 psi

Nice job

Awesome! Damn!

Did you log the runs? pdb files?

Tuned yourself?

Injector settings (assumed 720x720)?

Fuel corrections (mid range and top end)?

Timing map/settings?

Congratulations!

Yes I have logs from the pulls, but I have to load them on to my other other laptop still.

Yes the fuel trim adjustments are myself, but I have started to use Arghx's base moderate 8.5:1 leading map and split map

Injectors are set 550 x 720

When I swapped the 1,000cc injectors for the 1,150cc injectors I had to make adjustments to the boost side of the map.

Not trying to thread jack, but, your setup is similar to mine. However, I have ended up with mixtures much more rich than you have from 5500 rpm and up. I don't know if it is because of my turbo(which seems to be pretty efficient at higher rpms) or that I am running cats(more restriction),or my mild street port(needs more fuel), but mine leans out(11.8 - 12.2, then I back off)above 15 psi and my mixtures are maxed out on the Rtek at 14 psi from 5,000 rpms and up. I was thinking on going to 850 or 1000 primaries. I'm planning to add vapor injection that kicks in at 15 psi so that I can live at that boost. So far I have been to 1.3 bar or about 18 psi.

I too, and am running with the injector setting at 550/720.

And yes, this baby runs strong. It just may be putting out 400 hp!

I think the reason that your mixtures are maxed compared to mine is because I'm running fuel injector clinic 1150cc injectors up top. So I have a little more fuel play to with it. I to am considering some form of alchy/water injection as well, but mainly because Cali 91 octane scares me.

A little bit of everything. Mainly street fun, but I like to take the car to car shows. Just picked up some slicks so I will be hitting up the strip shortly to see what I can run. I have taken the car to some road courses like the Nurburgring and Hockenhiemring while I was in Germany.

The BW turbo feels great to me. If you look at the dyno sheet you can see that it starts to generate some decent torque fairly early in the rpm's.

same here! alot of street fun with some track days coming soon, cant wait to see your vids when you take it to the strip. yeah i can see the torque curving up pretty darn early, seems like a great turbo!

This was at Sacramento Raceway. First time hitting the quarter mile in 4 years so hopefully with some practice I can bring my times down.

They are Hoosier QTP's. They are a DOT slick. 26x9.5 R16.

I know I can do better with the 60'. I was running around 18psi in the tires and I was getting some tire spin. So I started to drop it to 16psi and I would get a decent launch, but I would get some crazy sway. Enough sway I had to shut it down a couple of times. I might try to find some skinny front runners to help with the sway.
